My steps on creating a sketch

To create a sketch, I usually need a floor plan and photos or links of the furniture, lighting or other materials that should be shown on the drawing.

First, I create a simple 3D model in the Live Home 3D. I don’t make it very detailed. I create it for arranging all the objects in space in the correct proportion. The 3d model helps to choose a better point of view with a designer much faster.

Then I draw an outline version of the sketch and fill it with colors in the Procreate app.

Usually, during the drawing process, I need to make some changes: change the furniture, lighting or move the object to another place, so knowledge about perspective drawing is also essential in my work.
